Our North Augusta High School FBLA is excited to return to some form of normalcy when it comes to their competition and meetings. For the past two years the NAHS FBLA has had to do their competitive events virtually due to the Coronavirus.
This year competitions are back and the NAHS FBLA will be traveling to compete in the national competition in Chicago. Six members from our FBLA were granted the opportunity to compete at the National Leadership Conference this upcoming summer.
Ann Marie Partl, a junior and FBLA member says, “to be able to go to nationals you must compete in a competitive event at the state level and place in the top four spots for your state to be able to go.”
Partl is qualified to attend the FBLA Nationals because of her first-place rank on a test on Organizational Leadership.
The national competition has a lot to offer. Partl says “we compete and get to attend workshops, then we also get the opportunity to meet business leaders from around the country.”
Partl is very excited to be attending and says “it is a very cool experience to dress in professional attire and learn about life skills you will use in the workforce.”
The national level competition allows our FBLA members to prepare for the workforce and grow in their business fields. We wish our FBLA members the best of luck when traveling to Chicago for the big event this summer!
