This year’s homecoming dance had its challenges because of COVID-19 and other circumstances, but student-body president Harlee Bryan came up with a plan for the dance.
“I first got the idea for the homecoming dance when I ran for student-body President,” said Bryan, “I planned to bring a lot of tradition back to NA and when I was elected I knew it was time to put in the hard work.”

Not only did her efforts allow North Augusta High to enjoy another homecoming dance, she included a canned food drive to help give back to the North Augusta community.
When asked why she chose to include this canned food drive, she replied, “I think if we have an opportunity to help those in need we should seize it.”
Grace Fellowship Church will be collecting these canned foods and using them in their street ministry, used to help our homeless in the CSRA.
The homecoming dance had no affiliation with North Augusta High School or Aiken County Public Schools and is a “parent-sponsored event”. Its purpose was to allow North Augusta students and their dates a chance to celebrate our community and each other.
The dance was held October 9th from 7 - 10 PM in the North Augusta Riverfront Amphitheater. Tickets were sold at $10 each, cash only, and every person in attendance was required to bring a can of food.
Harlee gave credit to her mother, other parents, and Coca-Cola who was generous enough that they “donated drinks to the event to provide an amazing night under the stars!”
