On October 9, 2020, the North Augusta Yellow Jackets had an away game against South Aiken High School. The Jackets won the game, with a score of 21 to 16, against the T- Breds.
The first touchdown of the game was scored by North Augusta’s Austin Harrell. Harrell made many great plays during the game, and was named offensive player of the week. He states, “It feels good being named offensive player of the week, and I could not have done it without my offensive line blocking and my receivers making plays.”
Family members, friends, staff, and many students showed their love and support to the Jackets on Friday. The student section had a great turnout, and cheered on the Jackets all night. The theme for Friday’s game was Hawaiian night, and many students came in leis, fun Hawaiian shirts, and colorful sunglasses.
The Jackets are having a great season so far, and hope to keep their winning streak. They have recently played against Midland Valley on October 16th for the NAHS Homecoming game.
